The SPP Vision

The Society for Philosophy in Practice is a professional organisation which aims to promote philosophical counselling, Socratic Dialogue, Philosophy for Children in particular, and the use of philosophy in general, as a way for all people to benefit from philosophical reflection in their lives.

Activities that the Society engages in are the organisation of courses, events and conferences and the publication of the journal Practical Philosophy and books. The society also seeks to provide a forum for all those interested in practical philosophy to meet and exchange ideas.
