MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open to all. We welcome as members, not only philosophers or students in philosophy, but also professionals from related disciplines (e.g., psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, management consultants, trainers, educational psychologists, teachers) and all others interested in the application of philosophy to everyday life.

Benefits of membership include:

  • receiving the journal Practical Philosophy free of charge twice a year
  • reduced rates for courses and other events
  • networking with other members and keeping up on what's going on in practical philosophy
  • inclusion on the Register of Practical Philosophers (dependent upon satisfying other criteria)
  • access to a chat group to network with other members and keep up on what's going on

 There are two types of membership of the Society (or you can subscribe to the journal Practical Philosophy without joining the society):
